Explore Southampton City Art Gallery’s diverse collection of fine art, which can tell the story of European art from the Renaissance through to the present day. Regularly rotating displays feature works from the collection, national touring exhibitions and work by local artists.
The gallery, based in Southampton’s burgeoning Cultural Quarter, opened in 1939.
Southampton City Art Gallery offers the opportunity to enjoy high quality exhibitions ranging from painting, sculpture and drawing, to photography and film, as well as a permanent collection and displays that change regularly to ensure new experiences with each visit.
Southampton’s fine art collection currently holds over 5,300 works and to this day continues to grow through gifts and bequests.
The timber-framed building facing St Michael’s Square was built in the late 15th Century, with King John’s Palace, an adjacent Norman house accessible from Tudor House Garden, dating back a further 300 years.
Prior to becoming a museum in 1912, Tudor House passed through many hands over the years including Southampton Sheriffs, Mayors, MP’s and a Lord Chief Justice of England. There have been plots to kill a King, involvements in coronation processions and more.

de:fy:h8 uses fashion to promote change and challenge biases. Offering limited-run designs with meaningful backstories, the brand encourages personal growth and expression. Sustainability is central, with recyclable packaging and responsibly sourced clothing. Together, let's make a difference!
Who Are We?
The concept: we want to use the universal language of fashion to change the world for the better by promoting the importance of challenging OUR OWN biases and beliefs.
It’s a serious topic but changing the world doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom – this is where our art comes into play. All our designs have a backstory – pick one that’s meaningful to you and show the world what you stand for.
Each design has a limited run rather than mass-produced fashion. Maybe we CAN make a difference, together
I work closely with my clients on both a per project & retainer basis, I am passionate about helping brands shout loudly, confidently & consistently by understanding the power of good design – helping them turn their values into unique, scroll stopping visuals.
From logo suites, to newsletters, to in store graphics, I have worked across a wide variety of projects & industries, with clients even winning awards for their brand aesthetics.

We are a non- profit group of artists based in Southampton. The 'Keepers' consists of 8 artists. They come from different backgrounds and disciplines, and share an interest in creating art, community based art projects, and supporting other artist networks.
The aims of the collective are:
To be a not-for-profit organisation which will have studio space.
For each member to work alongside each other and share support and create opportunities for other artists to exhibit with the group.
To create networks and support within the community.
To apply for funding for projects that will enable the group to expand and promote their works within the artistic community, and for the general public.
My work has been performed, exhibited and screened nationally and internationally, through platforms including Kartong International Cultural Festival, The Gambia; APT Gallery, London; Portsmouth Historic Dockyard; Winchester Cathedral; and Circulo de Belles Artes, Museum of Fine Arts, Madrid.
Alongside my creative practice, I have extensive experience in producing and project management, as well as mentoring, delivering workshops and working with artists living with complex needs including access support.

Music,
Southampton
I am a freelance music composer who mainly works in video games. Whether you are a single-person developer, a small team or a larger studio, I apply the same level of collaboration, proactivity, and professional conscientiousness to every project I work on. Feel free to get in touch!
I am a game developer and music composer with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and learning at the heart of everything I do.
I’m a co-founder of Propulsion Games, where we are focusing on titles that harness the magic of local co-operative gaming. I also collaborate with other video game developers as a freelance music composer and sound designer, as well as for other media such as podcasts.
Aside from this, I have a background in the finance industry; most notably in data analytics for internal audit.
