Our mission at Music in the City is to promote the rich diversity of music in Southampton, celebrating its unique heritage and fostering cultural harmony. In diverse and unusual spaces, we raise spirits, bring communities together, and provide opportunities for musicians of all ages and backgrounds. Our annual free multi venue live music festival showcases established and emerging talent, supports wellbeing through music-making, and continues our tradition of presenting local musicians playing for the people of Southampton.
